Alex Van Cauwenbergh
Alex is one of the founders of Quasus. He has taken up the role of CEO since the start-up of the company. Previously, he was managing director for a small French consulting company Oresys, service unit manager at the Computer Task Group, project lead at DHL and OCT engineer at P&G. After his engineering studies, he further developed his management skills at the Vlerick Management school in a Master Class Innovation & Entrepreneurship and the Advanced Management Program.
André Meijer
André is managing director of Quasus NL and Quasus DE. He has national and international experience as General Manager, Director Third Channels and Operations Director Business Network Services at KPN; he was CCO at Datelnet in Den Bosch and Commercial Director at Mediaan in Heerlen. He graduated from the University of Groningen in Administration Sciences and took several courses at Nyenrode Business University and at the University of Pennsylvania Business School.
Marc Sorée
Marc has served as CEO for Quasus BE from April 2010 until June 2011. He assisted the change towards the new lean process-driven Quasus 2.0 organization. Prior to Quasus, Marc performed senior management and board positions in ICT, Software and Consulting companies for more than 30 years. At organizations like NATO, Novell, BMC Software, Selligent, Siebel, Baan, Mercury and HP, Marc was Managing Director or BU Director focusing on business performance, customer satisfaction and employee enthusiasm.
Mark Thijs
Mark is co-founder of Quasus and actively involved from the beginning in the role of CIO and CFO. After his master as civil engineer at the KULeuven, he also graduated as a MBA student at Solvay Business School. He started his career in the banking business in several Belgian banks and gained extensive experience as analyst and project manager, both as employee as well as consultant for CTG. Mark has also been business unit manager at Oresys Belgium.
