What we are looking for…
As a test manager you will be working in a motivated team of testers and see to it that applications are tested and whether they apply to the requirements of the client.
The Test Manager’s responsibilities include:
- Align the solutions for testing to the objectives and strategies of the client
- Produce a test strategy
- Compose and maintain a master testplan of approach
- General project management tasks
- Manage risks, budget and resources
- Report about planning, budget and risks
- Develop and maintain a good working relationship with the project team
- Monitor and evaluate engagements and report to QUASUS and client management
- Be a liaison between management and the customer on tactical and strategic level
- Support business development for QUASUS
- Transfer knowledge within the organization in an efficient manner
- Evaluate the test process and propose improvement suggestions
- Advise the client in testing issues
- Anticipate on new opportunities
- Promote QUASUS
- Coach QUASUS Test Engineers and Test Coordinators
- Coach Test Engineers and Test Coordinators at the client site
- Deliver sales support
- Make and give presentations (QUASUS intern, to the client, at seminars)
- Coordinate and roll-out training for Test Engineers
Who you need to be…
Education
Higher education or university level (bachelor or master)
Knowledge
- In-depth knowledge of testing methodologies and strategies
- Extensive knowledge of project management techniques and other management techniques
- Experienced in defining test strategies, writing test plans, composing test documentation, .
- Experienced user of standard software packages and/or technologies
- Experienced in using tools from HP, IBM, Open Source or other vendors
- Eg. Quality Center, QTP, LoadRunner, QALoad, TestComplete, QAComplete, NeoLoad,
Skills & Attitude
- Highly developed analytical and problem solving skills
- Passion for testing
- Creative and innovative attitude
- Have an eye for quality and detail
- Management and coaching capabilities (people skills)
- Team player but also able to work independently
- Dynamic, flexible and diplomatic
- Passion for people, passion for excellence
Languages
Good written and oral communication skills (NL– ENG – FR)
Experience
You have 5 or more years of experience in test coordination or test management
