Business Analysts

The Business Analyst takes a leading role in investigation, analysis, documentation and reporting on the business requirements of various aspects of the customers business. This includes understanding of the business processes (As-Is and To-Be). Furthermore, the Business Analyst interacts closely with the implementation, development and testing teams with our client.

The Business Analyst’s responsibilities are situated in the following domains:

  • Produces and defines business requirements with business stakeholders by information gathering from a variety of sources, e.g. via interviews, workshops, published material, etc.
  • Documenting requirements using agreed templates and tools
  • Performs Gap Analysis (As-Is versus To-Be)
  • Identifies and documents use cases (scenarios) representing the users, workflows and tasks that will have to be performed as a result of the To-Be processes
  • Identifies requirements that are common across customers versus those that are custom to customers
  • Defines (analysis) work packages in co-operation with Project Managers and others
  • Develops and maintains accurate Test Scenarios

Profile

Education

Higher education of university level (masters or engineer)

 Knowledge

  • Experience with IT projects, process modeling and data analysis/modeling
  • Experience with business process management is an extra asset
  • In-depth knowledge of Business Analysis methodologies
  • Experience with UML, Visio or modeling tools (Enterprise Architect, Rational Rose Modeller, Requisite Pro, Mega, Casewise, Aris, Tibco, Provision, etc.)
  • Domain knowledge in 1 or more key industries in which our clients are active.

Languages

Excellent knowledge of Dutch, English and French (German optional)

 Experience

You have at least 3 years of relevant working experience in a similar environment.
